Final days in Europe....4 days in Rome

Back to Cazals, South West of France

We returned to Cazals area (where we stayed at Boussagou for 7 weeks back in June), this time staying in Mont Clera. We stayed at a Gite which was a friend of our friends Rosy and Marcus'. Quite a few shots here....one is of me on my birthday at a reasonably famous restaurant called Le Recreation. Another one is of our Gite, and then a Sunday lunch that our hosts Elizabeth and Gary held for us with Rosy and Marcus and their kids.

2 weeks in Sete, South of France

We stayed 2 weeks in an apartment right in town. Sete is a gorgeous town with lots of canals, it is the biggest French fishing port. The beaches 5 mins drive around the corner were gorgeous. Lovely white sand, blue blue water, and lots of restaurants in the sand.

3 Weeks in Spain....

We spent 2 weeks in Altea which is about 130 km's south of Valencia, then 1 week about another 100 km's further south. Weather was gorgeous every day, temperature around 35 degrees. Stayed in great apartments, but unfortunately Lachy has had a bit of an accident falling down the marble stairs and has cut his head quite deeply. He had to get it glued back together. He's going to end up with a bit of a scar to remember his Europe trip!!

We spent heaps of time visiting the local towns, swimming in the pool and chilling out as the weather was very hot in Spain.

Day Trip to Monaco...

We stayed for 4 nights in the next bay around from Monaco. Wow...what an eye opener that was! Every second car was a Ferrari and every 3rd was a Porsche! Poor old Redge felt a bit old and tired.
