Our home for May & June (Boussagou)
We have rented a home in the Hamlet of Boussagou in the Dordogne region for May and June. Our house is a 3 bedroom Gite called La Longere. The family who own it have been wonderful and have heaps of little kids toys to keep the kids occupied. We have decided that we will most probabaly stay in one region every month or so and take day trips to see all the touristy things then move on. The roads around here are very very quiet (and narrow!!) , so today I took my first driving lesson (driving a manual, diesel, on the other side of the road takes a bit of teaching!) Here are a few photos of our house and others on the farm in Boussagou. Mum and Norm and Jan are here with us for most of June which we are all looking forward to.

Day Trip to Sete
This town was gorgeous....a town with canals, and right on the edge of the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The only place so far that we have thought we are going to stop and have a drink. The restaurant we went to was right on the water's edge and was stunning. We loved the place so much we are going to try and rent an apartment there for a few weeks at some point.
930 km's Paris to Prades
We rented a car and drove from Paris to Prades in the South of France (930 km's) in 9 and 1/2 hours. The scenery was absolutely beautiful., fields filled with flowers Am very very grateful for our GPS system....those intersections out of Paris are an absolute mare and would have been impossible with just a map!!
